Ok, so I'e been having some problems with my pc, It was powering up for less then a second but would then switch off. Thinking it was my PSU I've replaced it but I'm still having the same problem.
I've found that one of my hard drives is causing something to short as when it's not pluged in everything lights up properly, except for the CPU. The mobo status LEDs are all red which means there's a processor malfuntion of some sort. I get the same result regardless of the whether the 12v auxhillary lead is in or not.
To touch the CPU is stone cold, another indicator that it's not working however I've heard that it's extremely rare for a CPU to die but I can't think of any thing else. So, any ideas?
