Not sure. You can play as the space marines though. The game takes place 10 years after Chaos Rising, in the same system, which is even more wracked by war now than before, and more different factions are involved. The intro video does a good job of setting up the scenario.
I played...
Screw the emperor. I'm going to tackle the campaign as "da orks". Steam just let me start playing, and after a brief tutorial mission (which is skippable), you go to a screen where you choose your faction and start the campaign. Looks awesome.
Except it didn't really work like that. I don't know about the sequel, but the original game was ridiculously easy, even on nightmare. Only the very lowest levels and a few of the tougher boss battles gave pause. Even for those, it was usually just a matter of finding the "trick" to win the...
I was a huge fan of TAK back in the day. Not really a traditional RTS, and stuff like army movement and tactics take a bit of getting used to, but definitely a fun game that is worth playing.
Not just so selective with RPGs, but with games in general. With the unfortunate fact of RL intruding, there is only so much time. Who wants to waste it playing a game they are not going to particularly enjoy playing?
DA and DA2 push the boundaries of what can justifiably be called RPGs...
I tried the demo last night and was suitably impressed.
People are over in the other thread bitching about the crappy DA2 demo, but this one was a shining example of how one should be done to effectively sell your game. A video showing all the features and cool stuff in the game followed by...
There are settings in the advanced options for each power plan that also allow the computer to wake at random times if not disabled. These are the ones I always have to check upon each fresh install of Win 7.
I only had a problem with sleep after SP1, and the HD Audio thing didn't work. Apparently I was not the only one having a problem though.
The explanation and hotfix download are in KB2495523.
I installed it, and now my computer sleeps properly.

You know, I'm not really sure I see what the problem is that merits the long discussion in this thread or in the others that have been about this subject.
I just perused the "New Releases" and "Coming Soon" game lists on Steam, and I found exactly 4 of 121 games that are $59.99. Everything...
Installed through Windows Update yesterday. It seemed to go fine, except now my computer will not sleep. Every time I try, the computer blue screens and completely shuts down. Upon restart, I get the "Windows did not shut down normally" screen. Very upsetting.
You have to admit though that PCGamer throws around way too many 90+ scores. As a subscriber (it's the only PC Games mag left), I enjoy their insider interviews, previews and columns more than their reviews, which I feel are too airy-fairy and positively stilted, to the point of not wanting to...
That's actually a pretty good point.
It may not play like DA or be really like DA2, but that doesn't mean that it will necessarily be a bad game. As long as it is judged on it's own merits and not just as a sequel, it may do fine.
An example is DoW2, which was nothing like the original...
