was helping a friend build his new computer. we hook everything up, hit the power button, and poof... smoke coming out of a capacitor on the mobo... got a new one in the mail already, i'm just wondering whether it could be the power supply.... ( 1200w thermaltake). i'd hate it if another one...

my dad wants me to build him a computer for his office. he's not necessarily on a tight budget, but he's only going to be using it for web browsing and email, and a bit of data redundancy (mirror raid) anyone got any mobo/cpu reccomendations? was thinking about the 7750 and a micro atx raid...

i like my brother's x2 better than my 280

ive had 3/6 sticks fail on me within less than a year of use. 3rd one was just now. different batches/sizes. i was thinking OCZ what do you think?
