I had a similar problem with afterburner, it only clocked the gpu up to 500mhz. did the "unofficial unlock" and it stopped doing it.

hardware is in my sig, I am on windows 7 pro. But like I said its almost all better, only thing messing with my system is Origin now. when its installed my mouse has a slight delay if I do touch it for a few seconds for it to start responding again.

I did not use driver sweeper, however it was doing it since day one of having the card. After re-install of windows, the tearing is barely noticeable with v-sync off now. It is still there but I can at least kill someone hahaha.

I havent messed with any ccc settings yet, the vsync options i used where in game ones. This is my first card/build since my old pentium d/8800gt there are more settings then I could of imagined back then haha. Well off the play with more settings I go. Ill update what happens.
