    Alphacool/Aquatuning warranty service

Edit: if this is not the right sub-forum to post this please recommend or move it- it seemed to kind of be in a grey area but as it relates to aftermarket cooling I figured I would try here for people with the most knowledge/familiarity. Has anyone had any experience getting warranty support...

Right angle adapter for USB 3.1 gen2 mobo header?

I built a mITX computer using the ASUS Strix Z390-I mobo (I built this computer back in the fall so Z490 was not available back then). For the CPU cooler I am using a Noctua NH-D15 dual tower cooler. Everything is great except one issue. One of the fans on the cooler protrudes out such that...

    Arm mounting question LG 38GL950-B

Hey everyone, I bought a LG 38GL950G a couple months ago, it's been awesome. A HUGE upgrade over my previous 23" 1080p/60hz monitor and a worthy upgrade to pair to my gaming PC I built in the fall. Currently I just have it sitting on my desk, pushed back as far as it can go. I have been...

Apple Time Capsule routing throughput... seeing unexpectedly high performance

This is definitely kind of true. The backstory here is that my old ISP got bought out for a new company and the new company offered 1gbit fiber at the same price I was previously paying for 50/10 fiber (actually a few dollars a month less)... who wouldn't take that deal? :) This whole upgrade...

Apple Time Capsule routing throughput... seeing unexpectedly high performance

So, not sure if this fits here best or the Apple forum. But I wanted to share a recent experience. I recently upgraded my home internet to gigabit fiber. My home network is pretty straightforward, fiber ONT>ethernet>Time Capsule (it is a 2TB 802.11ac model). I have a handful of wireless...

    Surface 3 (non-Pro) a reasonable buy?

So I've been getting used to my surface 3, I have a question about the pen stylus that I bought to go with it: For a while now I have been using a wacom tablet as an input device (i.e. just general mousing, not drawing or art). For those familiar with wacom stylii, there is a two button rocker...

    Surface 3 (non-Pro) a reasonable buy?

Well I caved and put in an order. It is coming from Best Buy so easy returns if it doesn't work out. Or I could maybe give it to my dad who probably would love a device like this. I picked up the type cover and stylus from Amazon both of which were slightly on sale (also a microsoft bluetooth...

    Surface 3 (non-Pro) a reasonable buy?

I read an article recently about the surface 3 tablet, and that since Intel has cancelled the Broxton CPUs a direct replacement may not come out for some time. Then I saw that it is currently on sale (4GB RAM/128GB storage version) for $150 off, and I am very tempted to pick one up, as...

    Anno 2205

This has been in the Anno games at least as far back as Dawn of Discovery, possibly further (I started playing with Dawn of Discovery). The narrator guy there would comment on your play time if you did 2 hours straight. I think when you got to 4 he would say something else. How do I know...

    Xbox360 wireless setup

Confused, what do you mean when you unplug the controller? Sounds like a simple question but did you go through the paring process for the receiver and controller?

    AC4 for PC keeps crashing

Well things seem to have improved. Although I'm not sure what is different. I previously had the Physx particles set on high, I reduced that to Normal (saw a little frame rate increase too) and kept playing. I'll still get a crash now and then but now it seems to save my latest progress so I...

    AC4 for PC keeps crashing

I started playing AC4 for the PC but have had enormous difficulty making progress due to the game crashing all the time. AC4SP.exe or whatever it is keeps crashing. I got the game for free when I bought my last video card, redeemed/downloaded via UPlay. I have tried running it via Steam (as a...

    Grand Theft Auto V

Actually I don't run shadowplay or any other overlay (unless you count the steam overlay which fdoes not seem to have any bearing because it runs always and not just the first time I run the game). I do use MSI afterburner but again no OSD/overlay functions nor does it crash when GTA crashes.
