Will these things be faster/more powerful than the current generation of X4s?
I know the Core 2 Duos gained some kick when they were revised, but the Brisbane revisions of Windsor cores seemed like a notch down on the poll from my standpoint.

Has anybody managed to find any way to get either of the slots to run in PCIe 2.0 x16 instead of the usual x8? I've heard this board is locked in x8 no matter what you do, but people here at [H] tend to know more.

So, I just bought 4 GB of RAM DDR2 1066 for a AM2+ 780G MoBo. Will it be running at DDR2 800 until I get a Phenom (I'm running a 5400+ X2 Brisbane)?
This was originally my HTPC, but now it does light gaming (TF2 and CSS mostly, with some gMod).
Will a 5400+ X2 on an AM2+ MoBo (780G) with 3 GB of DDR2 667 bottleneck a HD 4850 on Windows XP?
