Just play the game and you will finish playing it soon. After that I doubt that you will want to play it again.
 
Wow, well if the 4850 in that laptop performs like the 4850 desktop...I don't think Nvidia
will be able to compete as far as gaming laptops go. And that laptop is only
$1400...so I am skeptical as to whether the 4850 in that laptop performs the same as
a 4850 desktop gpu.

Actually since I replayed it for the second time I like it a lot more. Dont know why people dislike it so much, its a kickass good old fps shooter and I don't need to solve any stupid puzzles like in hl series all I need to do is shoot Koreans in the heads :)

hell yeah, I'm playing Warhead second time too. Its an awesome game, if you can get past the whining about not being able to run it at full settings

It's probably going to be 70-80% of desktop performance as it has been in the past.
 
About darn time they do something in the mobile market worth having. Probably part of the reason Nvidia is actually making an attempt to update their mobile drivers.

Seriously I am always wondering why people are always talking about that game, when it is only fun for around 5-8 hours worth of playing. A game you should be complaining about include cod4, codwaw, warcraft 3, world of warcraft, aoc(mayb not), WAR, etc.. Pretty much anything that has actual replay value.

Edit: oh yeah I don't think its 40nm, I am pretty sure its just a down clocked 4850.
I don't have any evidence besides no press leaks about one, but I am pretty sure we would see a desktop part before a mobile part. Since they always seem to lag by quite a few months.

Don't get too happy about this. ATI has left owners of 3870's out to dry in notebook realm. I knew the OCZ Whitebook was too good to be true and I'm glad I waited a couple of months before shelling out for it.

It's a gaming laptop with a 17'' screen, it's supposed to be big, aka desktop replacement.

both but budget does not permit.

trust me, i was gearing up to spend a silly amount of $$$ to max out crysis

then i accidentally played modern warfare and forgot all about whatever it was i was thinking about before

either that or xb12s buell - that thing is too sweet for words
