I can't seem to find anyway to lower the HT or NB multi in uefi. I've been able to hit 3.3ghz with 235 fb, but can't get higher than that.
I've tried on the software side with their tuner program, but even when I lower the HT multi nothing happens and AMD overdrive won't let me change any...
I am not interested in Bulldozer, I plan to keep my 1055T for at least the next two years. I want to switch boards to use ddr3, increase my cpu overclock, and sata 3. So what board would be best for my needs? Also no cf or sli. Thanks in advance
Sorry for the hijack, but what is a decent AM3 board for about $100. Looking at ASRock and Asus mainly, since everyone seems to denounce MSI for the X6 (though mine runs just fine). Specs in sig, plus 2x4gb 1333 ram and am not particularly interested in xfire or sli.

I went the ebay route, though you can always sell through the forum. I sold my 720 for $70 something, so if you can get that for the cpu and each gpu, you'd be closer to a 5850 than 5870, unless you can find a really good used deal.
Man I really need to improve my load times. Always something.
edit-sicklown, mind running it with your 5870 oc'ed, since we have similar setups(cpu, ddr2). Want to see how my 5850 stacks up.
I don't know the resell value of the 4870, but upgrading to a 5850 from a 260 only cost me $120 after selling the old card. An sli setup would've cost me about the same and I prefer a single gpu. Though for you, a new 4850 only cost about $80-90, so I see the benefit.
If I were the op, I'd...
