Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have an SN25P running Debian Etch i386. Sound used to work until there was a power outage today. kmix gives many controls and I don't know what settings to give to get sound to work. Can someone tell me what settings to give to get programs like bplay, plaympeg, skype, and twinkle to work...
I'm running Linux (Debian Etch) on an SN25P. Sound output to both speakers (plugged into the rear L/R jack) and headphones (plugged into the front headphone jack) works fine. But I can't get sound input to work. I have a microphone plugged into the from microphone jack. And I've tried echo123...
Has anyone successfully installed Debian sarge or etch on an sn25p?
Ideally, I'd like to install amd64 but I will settle for i386 for now.
I tried etch amd64 with the beta2 and daily businesscard installers. But I get the known problem of
Failure trying to run: chroot /target mount -t...
Does it make a difference in speed whether I get CL2.5 or CL3 RAM for an SN25P running an FX-60 with 2G RAM? Is there such a thing as CL2 RAM and does it make a difference in speed? I don't want to overclock but want to run the fastest possible without overclocking. What timings will allow that?
The SN25P manual (and also the spec sheet) says that there is a header on the motherboard for wireless keyboard/mouse. Does anybody know what this is and how you use it?
There is also a header for a parallel port. Where can one connect a parallel port?
There is also a header for IrDA...
Shuttle sells prebuilt SN25P systems with an option for a PN18 802.11b/g Wireless LAN Module. Where is this module attached? Is it a PCI-e 1x1 card?
Does anyone know if there is a Linux driver for this?
Does anybody know if there exist SCSI controllers that can plug into the SN25P PCI-e 1x slot?
Does anybody know if an Exabyte M2 drive will fit in the 5 1/4" bay on the SN25P?
Has anybody tried to build an SN25P with an M2?
One of the things that I am accustomed to doing with my current machines
is moving disks between them for trouble shooting or maintenance. My current machines have disk caddys which make this easy. Since the SN25P has on one 5 1/4" bay, and that is typically used for a DVD drive, it is not...
I am considering purchasing/building about ten systems based on the SN25P for
my lab. These will be fully-loaded high-end systems. I plan to run Debian
Sarge amd64 on them. Since I am new to the SN25P, I have a fair number of
questions. I will post them incrementally to this group and...
