Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
OK...I know I have probably overlooked something small and stupid and it's preventing me from doing what I want to do but here's the deal...
I have a laptop and a desktop and a wireless router...I can see both computers...From the laptop I can access my desktop and the files I have shared on...
Greetings,
First off let me preface this. I am not a power user and don't game a lot, flight sim is about it. But I do share the computer with my wife and son and we all have our stuff open and switch users often. I'm running Vista 32 now with 2GB of memory. Is it worth it to either...
Greetings,
I have a desktop that is running Vista 32 and a laptop running vista 64. I have tried and tried to connect to the desktop and vis-a-versa and although I can "see" the desktop from the laptop no matter what I do, I can't open the folders. Would the fact that one is 32 and one is...
I'm getting ready to build a system with this board using Vista. Question is...Do I need a floppy for the SATA driver or does Vista in the installation recognize the SATA controller and install it's own driver.
Thanks!
Thank goodness and explanation! I was thinking my antenna was going out. Seems in my area, Olympia, WA. the land based repeaters are also on the fritz as well.
I have to agree, not as much as I was hoping for. I've looked in the folders were it saved the documents and everything and don't really see "my documents" which I had hoped to verify they were saved. Is there something I am missing, or what other solutions to people use? I don't really care...
I have the same PS and am also looking at a similar upgrade set up. Little different MB, but more or less the same. What about adding a Radeon X1950GT 256MB card, is that still enough juice from the PS?
Thanks for the help!
So just confirming on the "workaround"
You boot with Vista and choose "custom" and then that will let you reformat the drive? Or can you reformat and then reboot with the Vista disk and do the workaround?
Ok, I'm confused....
I am looking at getting Vista Home Premium Upgrade but I have a couple of questions.
I have running XP Pro now and when you look on Microsoft's web site it says I need to do a "clean install" for Vista. So...With an upgrade version of Vista is their idea of a "clean"...
I have searched HP's site and they will not be supporting the P1100, or won't be writing a Vista driver. By chance, has anyone installed Vista and used this printer? Does vista have in it's driver database have a driver to at least let you print?
Thanks in advance,
Patrick
Anyone installed it on a Asus A7N8X Deluxe board or any other nForce2 board? I got an ok from the upgrade advisor but want to hear real world experiences. I'm looking at getting Vista Home Premium Upgrade.
Thanks!
