Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I just recently completed a new build and noticed a small problem: my USB 3 ports don't work during boot-up. Specifically, when I plug my keyboard into a USB 3 port, the keyboard doesn't work.
However, once I boot into the OS (Windows 7 Ultimate), the USB 3 ports work fine. Also, the USB 2...
I think I have the same issue as you. On my parent's PC, when Firefox is closed, it'll often crash and the error-report window will pop up. However, the PC has Windows XP, not Windows 7.
Thanks for the advice Danny; I appreciate it. I'll probably be getting it this month or in the summer (in which case I'd have to wait and look for a setup later on).
I was wondering if the Xeon was worth the extra $40. I do some rendering, but I don't know if it would be enough to warrant the...
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
A combination of web browsing, light gaming, and probably a bit of rendering and photoshop.

My guess is a low resolution. Try using a resolution around 300 dpi or greater instead of the default 72.
EDIT:
For comparison, here's the print preview in Photoshop of 72 pt text at two different resolutions:
EDIT2:
After reading your post, it sounds like it's only the text that...

I installed Ubuntu 8.10 today (dual boot with XP). It's my first time dealing with a linux operating system and I must say, everything went surprisingly smooth. It detected most of my hardware automatically. The Nvidia drivers have been working perfectly and so has my wired NIC.
Hardware...

I turn mine off because I use it as a backup HD. I don't want to have both my internal HD and external HD fried because of a power surge and be left with no backups.
First, open up Task Manager and end the Google Updater process. Then go to C:\Documents and Settings\[USER NAME]\Local Settings\Application Data and delete the Google folder (I'd be careful here; if you have other Google Apps, they may reside in this folder. If this is the case, open the folder...
