Probably an unpopular opinion, but I think I'm actually looking forward to GoD:G. My first gut reaction on seeing multiplayer gameplay was that the "feel" of the game seems quite similar to Modern Warfare 2, and that is a good thing.
CoD deserves and earns many complaints, but it caters well...
Some game companies primarily make games. Some game companies primarily make engines, and then mostly make games to showcase the engines so that other game companies can get excited.
Both iD and Epic fall into the latter category.
There's nothing wrong with that business model, especially...
Jobs *is* the modern-day Edison, and there's no way Edison would be insulted if he were alive to hear it, so why should anyone else think it's an insult?
Both Jobs and Edison were brilliant businessmen and entrepreneurs, neither was really an inventor or a creator.
They took the ideas of...
It's funny, the OP just bought an iPhone and loves it.
I just switched from 3+ years of iPhone ownership to a Galaxy S3 and couldn't be happier.
Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
As it stands right now, the iPhone 5 is the best handset on the market from a hardware perspective...
Agree completely with complaint #1. The respawn animation takes too long and should be skippable.
For point 2... I don't mind the black market.
They have 2 problems they need to address:
1) New mechanism for obtaining backpack SDU upgrades to keep game from feeling too identical to...
I've found myself moderately annoyed by this issue, but overall I've been happy enough with the mouse that it hasn't been a dealbreaker for me.
I've gotten in the habit of only putting infrequently used binds and/or binds used when standing still in games on G-shift. Sure, it blunts one of...
Not sure about a non-compete, but there was probably some clause in the contract that gave them a big pile of stock or something if they stuck around long enough. Rarely ever is a non-compete that long going to stand up in court anyway... with relatively little investment the docs could get...
All of the class adjustments implemented or commented on thus far have been very targeted.
Operative is overpowered in PvP because it's both a very good group utility class (due to healing) and can also effectively "one shot" opponents in 1v1 duels by using an ability that causes a knockdown...
So one little question... other than analyst estimates, where's the data to indicate how much EA/Bioware actually spent developing TOR? So far as I know, the actual figures have not been released and everyone is just making their best guesstimate. The $200M number seems to come from an LA...
If you're seriously looking at the BWU, see if you can find a Ducky 9008 Shining. That's what I went with, and I can't imagine getting a Razer product instead.
The issue you might find, upon further reflection, is a lack of mechanicals with macro keys and brown switches.
If you don't use macros, it's not a problem, obviously, but it seems like there are a lot of people who swear by them. If you need them, your options end up fairly limited. Corsair...
For anyone who plays FPS games (hell, any online game, really) regularly, 2KRO should be a deal killer. An easy example that would remove the BWU from contention for me is playing a multiplayer FPS and having to evade in 2 or 3 dimensions and hit the reload key at the same time. Having any of...
What incentive is there to focus on being 75-100% faster for gaming, versus massively increasing compute performance? Most PC games these days are badly-done console ports using primarily DX9 render paths (with a few exceptions).
Margins on even top-end gaming parts pale in comparison to...
