    awesome thanks for the tips. According to MSI Afterburner the lowest is around 30%, not sure if this is in line with the 40% limit or not. I'm perfectly happy with the noise of the low speed at idle, I guess I'll just test and see how low I can keep it before hitting 85-90 max temps.

    Sorry I forgot to mention that ya, I have the scythe fan installed.. I just took off the heatsink and cleaned off some excess arctic silver. So hopefully I'll get a little lower.
