Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
awesome thanks for the tips. According to MSI Afterburner the lowest is around 30%, not sure if this is in line with the 40% limit or not. I'm perfectly happy with the noise of the low speed at idle, I guess I'll just test and see how low I can keep it before hitting 85-90 max temps.
Hey guys, a quick question from an opposite viewpoint as far as overclocking these cards and their heat output. I've got 2 Galaxy GTX 460 768's in SLI, overclocked to 850mhz, and 2000 on the memory. They run perfectly stable and hit a reasonable max temp of ~72C.
I know the ceiling for these...
Not sure if it was a mistake or not, but I was pleasantly surprised to pick up my P8P67 Pro for 159.99, down from MSRP of 229.99. I'm new to the Micro Center experience as I just moved to Atlanta who actually has 2 stores... I think I'm in love.
A few days ago, my computer froze up on me (very unusual, never have had problems with it until now), and forced me to shut down by holding in the power button. It was late, so I left the rig off and went to bed. Next day, I went to boot it up and nothing. I decided to test the outlet in...
I bought the HP Media Center Remote Control, mainly because its sleek and nicer looking than the Microsoft version. However, when I received it in the mail today, it didn't come with an IR receiver... sooo I called HP and asked what the deal was. To the surprise of the guy on the phone, it...
I'm converting my old PC into an HTPC, and was stupid and for some reason thought I had a Socket 754 processor, it turns out its a Socket 462 AMD Athlon XP 2400+. I ordered a Zalman CNPS8000 Ultra... I'm wondering if its going to fit/work with the socket462?
I feel like a noob :(
Im looking into getting the Optoma HD70.. 720p for $999 is pretty hard to beat. If thats too steep, check out their 420p model, think it runs for around $600.
I really loved reading a lot of these posts. I have played MMO's since beta of UO.. and I agree UO pre-trammel will never be beat.
Well guess what guys? You can still play it. This player-run shard is very very well done and professional, and all it needs is more of a playerbase. Check it...
Sorry I forgot to mention that ya, I have the scythe fan installed..
I just took off the heatsink and cleaned off some excess arctic silver. So hopefully I'll get a little lower.
