Hello, I have the Canon Elph 300 digital camera and I want to use my computer monitor as a live display so I can easily preview self portraits, etc
Is there a software that will allow me to use the mini-USB to computer USB cable (that comes with my digital camera) so I can use the camera like...
I can use the 1920x1080 res but it's not properly placed on the screen. The task bar and app top bars are off screen. Very odd problem. I had to downres to around 1000 x 800 res to fit things properly on screen.
Weird stuff...
I've never heard about this bumpgate card deal. What's it...
I pulled the CMOS battery out for an entire night, with the computer unplugged as well. I also pulled out the CMOS jumper (there's no 3rd pin tho. Just 2)
Don't have another mobo I'm pretty sure it's not the video card problem because my BRAND new 8800GT succumbed in under 2 minutes....
Hmm...
It was fucked, then I installed the new 8800GT and everything worked great. Until I set the res to 1920 x 1080....then it reverted back to that weirdness as you can see in the screenshots posted...
So I believe there is still hope.
Ok, so here's the story:
1) I have owned my EVGA 8800GT for 2 years
2) 2 weeks ago, I wake up and turn on my computer to find my video card stopped working. I get these weird spelling errors when I go into BIOS and the res is 640 x 480 in 16 bit color
3) Got a 250GTS from the office and it...
I bought the Windows 7 Student Upgraded and upgraded my Windows XP Pro
But what if my hard drive were to die. I installed the Windows XP Pro about 5 years ago and have long lost the original CD. My hard drive is really old as well and I fear it might die soon.
When I buy a brand new hard...
dang, I don't have another "regular" monitor to test it out on.
On a similar note, re-inserting parts like power cables, memory, etc, all seem to fix 80% of computer problems. What is the reason? Re-inserting them gets rid of the "bad electricity?"
Whenever my computer restarts, my monitor (46" 1080p Sceptre TV w/ DVI to HDMI converter) loses its signal to the computer.
I would need to
1) Shut down computer
2) Take out video card (8800GT)
3) Re-insert again
4) Boot up computer
And it works fine.
This is getting reaaaaaaaally...
In a way, a large screen size is the same as a smaller screen size because having a larger screen requires you sitting farther back, thus making it the same size to your eye as sitting closer to a smaller screen size!
Do you understand at what I'm getting at? :D
I just moved to a new apartment and bought the PS3 slim -- yet, I don't even have a monitor yet!
So this new monitor purchase will be for serious gaming as well as hardcore computer/internet use with my laptop
So which is the better option? (And it doesn't have to be a 32" TV. It can be around...
I apologize for this generic post but........
What's the best 30" - 50" 1080p TV/Monitor for gaming/internet use for around $600 - $800
Basically, it'll be my main monitor for my new PS3 slim (woot!) and my computer
Thank you! :D
