Not sure I agree as they stand to lose a lot of money by not going to the theaters first. Not to mention there were tons of commercials out for the movie before the issues started.

Dont these come "pre-shuffled" meaning all newly opened Rubik's cube are in the exact same position? This is why we see some people able to do it blind folded. With that in mind I wonder if the machine can just do the programmed movements for a brand new cube or it could actually take any cube...
I agree, I would like to see how it performs with less than stellar hardware, to get an idea of the difference when using say a R9270 or R7260 with mid range CPU. I also thought that the Mantle was more productive there but could be mistaken.
