Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I always find item 4 to be an interesting point.
Yes, nVidia were numbskulls and attempted to do something that seemed dishonest. But any company put into a position like nVidia was where they had a clearly better product, and the consumer responded by making them the market leader by buying...
I've ran Windows 7 on many different hardware configurations and let me say this, I'm seriously wanting to cry foul on these 'minimum' requirements.
I had issues with Windows 7 on older, DirectX 9 compatible graphics cards, even after disabling Aero. A video card even as recent as a 6800 GT...
I've been beating my head against a wall for the past few days trying to decide between two 260 GTX or two 285 GTX for a new build I've got going on.
I've seen Hot Deals for the 216 core 260's the past few days where I can get both cards for about $360 whereas the 285's are running about $325...
Looks like that management decision to layoff experienced employees for lower paid ones back in 2007 really worked out. I personally hated going to Circuit City stores after that decision was made. I always felt like I was walking into a fast food restaurant, not a high dollar...

I still haven't paid the $9.99 to upgrade my iPod touch to version 2 of the software. And now they want to charge me for this? Pfft.
I didn't get that impression at all. He sounds like an average joe that knows enough about computers to get himself into trouble with Linux.
But to each his own. :)
Sorry, but I disagree. The average computer user knows nothing about boot loaders, partitions (active or otherwise), and many other basic concepts us computer geeks take for granted. Most people can't navigate through a DOS like interface to save their lives. This is one of the primary reasons...
