Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
If you have the budget, then I think it would be a worthy upgrade.
More importantly, the extra 5 inches will definately be noticed, though the native 1080p display over the semi-1080i on the bluray should give you a very decent visual improvement all depending on the set.
It may help a little - but I doubt it.
If the original source is of small dimensions and quality, it will look the same from monitor to monitor (dis-regarding colour calibration).
In fact as you have found, the better your monitor gets - the more likely you are to see artifacts and notice...
Hi guys,
I live in the UK, and I'm off to the states soon - California.
I'm looking to get a pair of new Bose QuietComfort 2 'phones for this flight, as well as my daily commute everyday.
I've been thrifting around, and the cheapest I can get is £170 inc. shipping. They usual retail for...
Lots to look at already! Thanks a lot - I'm not sure what route to take as of yet. Have a bit of research, didn't know about that website, looks like a really good place to start...
I'll also take a good look at Petra's shop. Talking one to one with someone would actually be a really good way...
Yeah, remember the Fat32 limitations of any single file you're working with, over 4GB.
Otherwise you can have a 1TB folder filled with as many files, each up to the individual limit, as you like.
If you have personal DVDR's - I found that it's easy to keep the original TS file structure...
No you don't...
Just bag the VGA HDAV cable for the 360.

Video is handled by the VGA (the best connection you'll get), whilst sound is handled by the red and white phono plugs which you can hook up to speakers such...
Not really - since your graphics card isn't that fast.
You'll probably see your CPU waiting for the graphics card, which will be the bottleneck in your system, and you wouldn't really see much improvements for things like games.
If you're running apps that support dual-core, and they are...
Ugh - That's a drop in temp by 8C. And the think isn't just USB power... iStat recorded a 7C drop across, I had 61C on the bottom of my CPU under full load - now it helps it hover around 54C - it is in essence, a giant heatsink. NOT a USB cooler.
You carry on being the sceptic. I...
If anyone has some experience grabbing a Westy into the UK, I/we would really appreciate some help on this. I've been looking for a 1080p monitor for some time, that I can hook up to a 360/PC/Powerbook, and this one really fits the bill! I was also looking at the new WZ Benq which is being sold...
