I have a 7900GS and 2*1 GB super talat rams at 667.

and a 945 MSI MB with a 250 GB sata Western HDD.

and a 500 Watt Psu.

the question is i have a 3.0 MHZ HT 1 MB cache with fsb 800 processor.

and my Mobo supports dual core , so is it worth moving to a 3.2 4 MB cahce dual core processor ?

Not really - since your graphics card isn't that fast.

You'll probably see your CPU waiting for the graphics card, which will be the bottleneck in your system, and you wouldn't really see much improvements for things like games.

If you're running apps that support dual-core, and they are critical, then sure go for it. But if the reason is for gaming, you won't see much difference. So I say no.

If you haven't done so, you should overlock your 7900, which can easily increase its performance by 20% even with its stock HSF.
