Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Definitely need to go back and look over the parts again. I did this at work but need to evaluate my case again. I wasn't even considering water cooling so my case is a bit small.
I never really cared to look into water cooling because I don't do crazy overclocking. I can run my system at a 10% OC right now with a Deedcool AIO but it is kinda hot. Can hit 90 with extreme CPU use but usually sits around 75-80 with normal use. Idle I believe is around 45-55. I do want to...
Well I ripped it all apart reseated the cpu and exact same issue in the exact same slot. Going to do an rma now I guess bleh this really sucks to be down this long and now even longer.
Ya know that's a good idea. Especially given that the first support response I got from Corsair was someone assuming what the problem was and then treating it as fact. I requested a return via Amazon (guaranteed) and I picked up the G.Skill for free delivery tomorrow.
Well... I'm pretty sure I've narrowed it down. Seems like that dimm slot is just not working. I can slot them ram in any configuration pretty much as long as I don't put anything on that slot :\
Off the top of my head, yeah. I did so many different configurations last night swapping in and out it's hard to remember everything I did. When I get home in a couple hours I'm going to take everything out and then label them and then try more variations using the 1 that is not working right...
