    Best Driver Cleaner Software?

Does this clean uninstall option exist for ATI flavors?

    Best Driver Cleaner Software?

Other than a reformat of course. I've been running windows 7 at home off MAK's and I'm not sure if I have any more activations so I don't really want to have to shell out cash for a new win 7 key. I haven't used a driver cleaner program forever so any suggestions are much appreciated...

Upgrading for BF3, should I wait?

Hi guys. So I came across this the other day: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102951&Tpk=hd%206950 Basically can't really get a better deal for a sub-300$ card (that I know of). The thing includes the 6970 bios switch (is this on all the 6950's?) and a copy of deus-ex...

Oh crud... cooked my new i7 860 at ~100C for 5 minutes... how bad is this?

Yeah, you are probably fine, but doing it again wouldn't be a good idea.

    i7 860 heat issue

Personally I would shoot for sub-80 while running prime95, so you are fine. The max safe temp is 99, so 20-30 degrees below that under full load is totally fine for 24/7 operation. Aftermarket heatsinks are never a bad idea though.

HAF 922 side window? Where can I get it?

Topic says it all, trying to figure out whats up with the 922 side window, does CM not supply them to north america or what?

    i7 860 high temps.

This is a little high for P95, but definitely not abnormal temps for an 860. I have a megashadow on my i7860 (1.35Vcore) and Prime 95 puts me at like 72-73 peak and LinX with 8 threads puts me around 80. My heatsink & 860 are lapped up to a 2500 grit super-flat finish and I'm using the...

Core Contact Freezer + Gigabyte EP45

Use a credit card to apply some thermal compound to the heatsink to fill the tiny gaps between the heatpipes, scrape it flat, and then apply a large grain of rice sized bead (Or line) in the middle of your processor and apply the heatsink.

    From CM Hyper 212+ to Megashadow w/ Kaze-Jyuni 1900rpm

MY GOD 15-20 degrees cooler under 100% load.... all I have to say is Megahalems pwns! I am seriously amazed by the difference this made, it blows my mind how much of an upgrade this megahalems was. I highly recommend this heatsink to those who are trying to find 1156 heatsinks. I bought the...

Why TCase higher than Core temp?

Pretty sure Core Temp and Real Temp always give the same values, maybe your chipset is really hot and your TRUE isn't circulating the air directly around the base of itself? You can always blame the sensors, they are rarely accurate.

Jab-Tech order 2 weeks late. Holidays? Customs? (Canada)

Newegg was fine for me, but then again they have a Canadian site, so I am assuming they also have Canadian distribution? I dunno. Either way I want my shit! HURRY USPS/Customs!

Jab-Tech order 2 weeks late. Holidays? Customs? (Canada)

Stupid customs. It's annoying because I want to use the heatsink I have on my desktop currently on a build for my brother to use so he doesn't have to be on my computer...

    Motherboard or Graphics Card Failure?

Does it post? (do you get a single beep/everything running and no video output?) Keep substituting suspected bad components for known good components until you isolate the problem. If the video card works in another machine, and it wont post with a different PSU then It's probably the mobo...

    i7-920 Question

Turbo mode basically puts 3 cores to sleep and raises the multiplier by 2x on the core in use. It will increase your performance up to a maximum of 3.3GHz, so if you've overclocked your i7 above 3.3 it doesn't do anything useful. It's basically a nice performance boost if you are running with...
