Doesn't show much, but confirms that Asrock is releasing a refresh of their X99 boards for Broadwell-E..

Do you know when this will happen? Or proposed time?

What is PoS? I assume not piece of S#$%?

Thanks - I was able to check my progress on Ethpool and it looks good. I assume they deposit to my wallet at a certain threshold is reached? I did determine that my bat file was setup incorrectly for Decred. Had to create a worker on suprnova and all is good now. Thanks again for all the help...

I think I have it all working now. My two 7970s are hashing @ 37Mh/s for ETH and 556 Mh/s for DCR respectively. Power draw is about 470w from the original 680w before under volting. Plan to play around with under volting a little more with Afterburner to see I can reduce it some more. Right now...

I have the following that I am looking to part out soon in order to go X99: 3770K 3570K ZALMAN LQ-320 Water/Liquid CPU Cooler 120MM (2) Push/Pull fans for cooler - Nidec Servo GentleTyphoon 120mm Case Fan 2150 RPM PWM Fan D1225C12B6ZPA-64 G.SKILL Ares Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM...

Unless you are needing extra PCIE Lanes for tri-sli/crossfire or greater, then your 5820K will be fine for gaming. The big difference is the increase from 28 lanes to 40 lanes between the 5820K/5830K. 28 lanes is usually plenty for 2 card sli/x-fire and you won't gain fps by going to 5830K in...

Well, it looks like ASRock is the last one to announce any kind of refresh or new board for Broadwell-E. Any news from them on any new boards coming.

Price dropped at NewEgg with $30 rebate.

I believe I read the 6800K will have 28 lanes and 6850K will have 40 lanes. Similar to the 5820K and 5930K.

Curious, what your reasoning be at all then to go X99?

You have to assume the current X99 boards will drop some due to the refreshes coming as well. Sounds like a good time to go X99. Only problem is the wait until end of month....or even next month!

Latest bios already supports Broadwell-E - so you are good.

Don't forget the refreshed boards. Jury is still out obviously, but I would assume they would start out better with past R&D on previous X99 boards. Just a tought.

Wow - so simple. I need to check this out and find time to do it. I just gave you your next video to monetize! lol
