Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I've used both setups.
From personal experience, the 7970s just didn't work quite as well with the CFX and multiple monitor gaming combination.

As for the "real" hypervisor? Doubtful. :P This is pretty much just to play with / make my life a little easier... I currently don't see my career path headed in that direction but I've been known to be wrong before...
RAM is cheap.
I had a bit of extra cash.
Windows 8 has Client Hyper-V.
So, being the incredible genius I am, I maxed out the memory on my PC, to 32G.
My plan (such as it is) is to run several VMs (Dev, tinkering, etc) under hyper-v.
They will all have the same base VHD, and will be...
I have one (have actually had it since the beginning of the year), and I love it.
Do you have any specific questions, or were you just looking for an opinion?
Thanks for the reply!
Would you happen to have a known good link to NVInspector? I've found several different links to various versions online, with no clear indication of a homepage, nor which version is the newest / best.
I've found Afterburner / PrecisionX, and am going to experiment with...
I have a pair of 670s, and they are my first foray into the green camp in over a decade. (Although, to be honest, I spent a very large portion of that time completely out of the gaming arena...)
I could spend hours and hours looking through and experimenting with all of the various settings...
This pretty much cements my decision to jump ship.
Nothing against AMD / ATI, but my single day with a pair of 670s was almost enough to convince me.
The best cards in the world are nothing without equally adequate drivers.
While delaying an already delayed fix to "get it right" is terrific...
I am stepping a little out of my normal "comfort zone" to post this, and it appears that it fits this forum the best. If not, feel free to flame away, lock the thread, or move it. Or some combination of the above.
Currently, I run VM-Ware at home, mostly for isolation purposes. (I like to...
