already have tried the cable and hdd on old computer it works. Another funny thing is that the hdd in the old computer was showing up on the new one so i was just going to swap the 2 out and when i did it didnt work. Ive replaced the ide cable like i dunno how many times....lost count still same...
Ok some very wierd stuff has been happening with the computer i am building. First the computer couldnt detect the new hdd, and was coming up with a blue screen when windows try starting the setup. I was told that it could be the ram so i switched it out from the computer that works and still...
ok it stops now EVERYTIME on test #5 in bracets it says (block move, 64 moves, cached). does that mean i need to send back the ram?

ok, i have a strange problem. My new harddrive works fine on my old computer, but doesnt work in my new computer. The harddrive in my old computer works in my new computer. What could be causing this? This is starting to PISS ME OFF. Any help would be appreciated :)

I got everything in, everythings nice but when i try to install windows is always says that the hdd needs to be configured or check for virus's and shit like that. I have change out the ide cables like 5 differnt times with 5 differnt cables never used (except 1) please help. Thanks.
I just put in the shitty ECS ELITEGROUP mobo and i cant get it ungrounded. I put it on cardboard and it beeped out of the case (with nothing on the board except processor) and once i put it back in the case NOTHING please help.
On the ECS Elitegroup K7VTA3 mobo, if you were to overclock (if you can) a 2500+ to a 3200+ will it screw up anything that is in my AGP or PCI slots since you cannot the PCI or AGP bus? Thanks.
