On the ECS Elitegroup K7VTA3 mobo, if you were to overclock (if you can) a 2500+ to a 3200+ will it screw up anything that is in my AGP or PCI slots since you cannot the PCI or AGP bus? Thanks.

Sorry for all the newb questions...still trying to get my feet wet, thanks again guys for all the help.
 
It could affect those devices adversely. It could also corrupt the hard drive, which uses the IDE controller on the PCI bus. I suggest raising the FSB gradually, testing for stability at each increase of FSB. Any FSB frequency that raises the AGP or PCI clocks puts the connected devices at a degree of risk. Just proceed carefully, and make sure that your data is all backed up. You can never be too prepared.
