Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Eclipse quick question, is this good overclocking memory? At 4x4x4x12, is that fairly decent timings for ddr2. Obviously, ddr has much better timings, but is that reasonable for the price/performance.
I'm not really familiar with this manufacture, are they reliable? Is this memory fairly fast for stock speeds. I don't want to spend much on memory, but I thought this would be the best value for dual channel and 2 gigs.
Let me know...
What memory would you choose as far as dual channel pc5300 ddr2 667mhz? I want to spend no more than 200 dollars. I prefer 2 gigs but if you can justify the performance to get a 1 gig, I'm open.
In all honesty, what is a good amount of memory to run size wise for fps games like source, doom 3, far cry and so forth? Do you really need more than 2 gigs.
Which would you recommend and why? Would like to purchase memory soon, so I need help deciding.

Noobie question, but I have a pentium 4 3.20 w/hyper threading and i just installed memory and it says I have 3.25 under computer properties as oppossed to the 4 gig sticks i have in the actual cpu. My motherboard says its supports up to 4 gigs of ram. I have running 4 x 1 gig pc4200 533...
Can someone explain the benefits of having dual channel for memory. Is it necessary? Also, is there much of a difference between ddr2 pc 533 vs ddr2 pc 667. Is the difference noticable. Sorry for the no0b questions.
