Noobie question, but I have a pentium 4 3.20 w/hyper threading and i just installed memory and it says I have 3.25 under computer properties as oppossed to the 4 gig sticks i have in the actual cpu. My motherboard says its supports up to 4 gigs of ram. I have running 4 x 1 gig pc4200 533 sticks. Any thoughts on why it doesnt say 4 gigs of ram and says 3.25 instead.

because you're using windows XP. without some serious hacking, it won't show the full 4gb. use xp-64 if you have a 64bit capable cpu ;)
