Can someone explain the benefits of having dual channel for memory. Is it necessary? Also, is there much of a difference between ddr2 pc 533 vs ddr2 pc 667. Is the difference noticable. Sorry for the no0b questions.
 
dual channel effectively doubles the bandwidth from the memory to memory controller. not necessary, but handy for pentium4's. the difference between ddr2-533 and ddr2-667 is 66mhz. the difference in performance won't be astounding.. or noticable for that matter, but there is a small one :p
