Hey All, I have a need for building a rig from scratch for some ML modeling work. Last time I built a rig was 2020 (for gaming, not ML) so I'm excited about this but also don't have a clue of what I need. Here is what I have on my mind:
In the process of grabbing a Threadripper 3970X with...
Just want to say thanks to everyone on the post. The upgrade had a few hitches, but it went through successfully. I outlined below the issues if anyone runs into this thread:
- The BIOS upgrade instructions on gigabyte website are crap. But if you are using windows, this tool should work...
Thanks. That link is super helpful but I have Gaming 3 - I'm hoping the compatibility list is still the same. Good tip on the BIOS update. I'm gonna find a 3rd Gen Ryzen now. Super helpful.

whateverer
So I got the Jetson nano, and trying to use it now.
However, my fears about small computers other than Pi are slowly coming true. It is definitely a great powerful little thing - but support is really poor and things are broeken everywhere it seems.
Installed Jetpack 4.2, and...
whateverer Thanks, that's awesome detail!
Reading more into this, it seems Jetpack supports Ubuntu - which is pretty critial to success (some kind of debian support). But are the binaries built for this architechture? Can I just do "sudo apt-get install xxx" or do I need to compile the...
