    No video signal

He tried a different monitor with no success, and he installed new drivers with the installation of the 7900gs. He hasn't had a chance to try a driver reinstall since the two cards he has on hand aren't giving him video.

    No video signal

I've got a friend whose 8800gt recently appeared to stop working(but when tried in my computer worked fine) as he wasn't getting a video signal, so he swapped it out with a 7900gs I had lying around and things worked as normal up until a few days ago when he stopped receiving a video signal...

    4870 overclocking issues

    High pitched noise

I took my system out of the case and set it up on my desk to isolate the parts better and was able to confirm the noises were coming from my psu so I just went out and bought a new one(TX650) to see if that would fix it and I'm still getting the same problems.

    High pitched noise

I think you're right Mav I stuck my head by the psu and it sounds like it may be the culprit.

    High pitched noise

Yeah I reformatted my computer too just in case and the noise is still there. I'm assuming it's the motherboard, I'm thinking about emailing gigabyte.

    High pitched noise

I just installed my new i7 920, EX58-UD5, and 12 gb of G.Skill 1600Mhz ram last night using my existing HX620, 4870, and 300gb HDD last night with no problems. Everything seems to run fine but as of today I'm noticing a high pitched noise coming from perhaps the motherboard as well as another...
