    did you check your RAM timings in the bios? default should be at 1.8 but it's possible that you have higher timings RAM (mine was 2.1).

    yes, the speaker wire is plugged in just fine. i ran memtest for like 10 minutes. the video card works just fine in another computer. there are no beeps when i remove the mem sticks.

    i tried another video card that works fine and it's on another monitor also. you can hear the system starts, but you don't hear the normal beep... normally, the system makes alot of noise (coming from the video card fan mostly) for 3-4 secs and then it boots up... now, the sound never quiets...

    remove your video card and put it back in it. you could also try a different video card... test it with your full system set up.
