I shucked a bunch of 4TB Seagate Backup Plus drives years ago and was curious if I could put a new drive in the enclosure and it would just work? Like one of the Exos 18TB drives or something.
I have a standard, regular old 1080p TV, and don't plan on getting a new 4k TV anytime soon. I am thinking of getting a PS4 to play Horizon Zero Dawn. I may or may not play anything else. In this situation, do you think the Pro is worth the $100 extra over the Slim?

Thanks for the input. I think I'll just stick to 5e. It's only 8 runs anyway, so if I have to do it over again at some point, oh well. None of my gear is better than a gigabit, so I wouldn't be able to utilize the bandwidth of the higher end stuff anyway.
As far as the quality of the cable...
I'll ask again just to be sure...

If I copy some data from the first...
I second Handbrake. And yes, you will need to work around the encryption (if there is any) by using one of several programs (including AnyDVD HD as mentioned).
Here is an easy way to get an mkv (or any one of many other mainstream file formats would work too) blu ray compliant and ready to burn.

OK cool. I only chose VMware because that is the one I always heard of when I heard people speaking of VMs in passing. I am by no means partial to any of the software out there, so if one is better than another, I would certainly like to know.
