antec power supply fried?

ok so today i walked into my room to find my computer case and keyboard with rapidly flickering lights. as soon as i got closer i could smell that electronics burning smell. i immediately turned off the switch on the back of the power supply and unplugged it from the wall. earlier this morning...

buying some ram

i was looking to upgrade to 2gb of ram but wasnt wanting to do it all at once...u know buy 1 stick now 1 stick later...ive only bought ram kits before and dont know if it would be wise without a kit...i heard sometimes mixing two sticks that werent originally paired isnt a good idea...any...

i know theres a heatsink guide and such but i would still like some opinions...i have an fx-55 and was going to get a new heatsink..i was looking at the freezer 64 pro and the xp-90... which would be a better choice or doesnt it matter thanks :)

HD - The mistake Nintendo avoided or the one that Sony got right?

i am surprised at how much everyone knows about tvs and such.....i dont feel like the biggest nerd anymore :D anyways i dont think leaving out HD will hurt Nintendo much at all..although it would have been nice to have.....most people do not have HD tv, just because of cost and that smart...
