• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

before i went to work a few nites ago i had started the windows xp install so when i got home i would be able to install it in a few minutes...well my brother decided he would do it for me when i didnt want him to  long story short...he set up the overall administrator password and i want to change it...im not talking about when u boot up windows and u see all the accounts... i mean the real password

does anyone know how i can do it? i have been trying to figure it out but i dont know how because i have always had the same password from when i set it up on other computers

Ask him what the password is, then go into users and change it there. I'd just reinstall to make sure he didn't do anything else and keep him away from it.

If you're an admin level user you can change the administrator account password.

If all else fails, get a password reset CD from the internet, and run it and reset the Admin password.
