Purchased the i7-4790 (Non-K) - the cheapest one. Instantly overclocked it to ~4.2 GHz! Max Prime95 temps (small FFTs) - 65C! I am happy with the purchase!

Hi all!
I decided to upgrade to Haswell/Z97 platform.
I just sold my 3770K/Z77 - feel myself obsolete and too old-fashioned + disliked USB 3.0 performance and lack of SATA3 ports of Z77 chipset.
Also, I have a great 32 GB DDR3 kit which I'd like to keep - and do not hop to DDR4 for a few...
Nope. Minimum is 39% (1400rpm), max speed is about 3600rpm. And most likely the fan is PWM - it connected via mini 4-pin cable. The actual fan model is Everflow T129215SU.
I have the same problem here with my ASUS GTX 760 Mini. The minimum fan speed by default is 39% which is about 1400rpm. At idle it is way too loud compared to the rest of my system (Noctua fans, SeaSonic Platinum PSU)
I've tried all the stuff found on the web. Flashed many times with modified...
I'm using Focusrite Scarlett 18i8, it has a perfect headphone preamp (two preamps for pair of headphones actually)
I am an audio professional and an audio interface is a special thing to me... For sure, it's overkill for regular gamers, however Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 might be a good choice! Why...
In my opinion, ASUS released Z97 ITX low-end board to shift enthusiast attention to upcoming Z97 ROG Impact! Let's wait and see the upcoming Computex...
Okay, check out my pics!
It's how Corsair H80 will bend plastic mount:
Noctua NH-C14 with Thermalright TY-143:
Noctua NH-C12P SE14 with Thermalright TY-143 + ASUS GTX670 OC DirectCU II:
And a new Prodigy (re)build:
Well, Noctua NH-C14 will fit, but will block PCIe slot, NH-C12P will fit with low profile memory sticks only, etc. (P8Z77-I) Corsair H60/H80 is okay, but, H80 will bend that plastic top fan mount, after some period if time.
Take into account that GPU will block left side completely, front side...
I've used SG07 AND SG08 for quite a long time, but recently switched to Prodigy. The main difference in cooling abilities. If you plan to install a high end video card and play games, never get SG08! With SG08 you will have a hard times to install a proper CPU cooler to fit, a proper video card...
