    Considering a new laptop

Anyone think it's worth the price? I was considering knocking the processor up to an Intel® Core™ i5-430M Processor 2.26 GHz and taking the labelfish off the DVD drive, but the price would end up being $944. Didn't want to spend too much. I was hoping to not spend over $800, but most...

Not really looking for a netbook. I'd prefer a full sized laptop. Thanks anyway.

    Considering a new laptop

I've been thinking about getting a new laptop lately and I was considering getting one from Toshiba. I've looked on Newegg and only saw one I really liked. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834114791 for $669. I went to Toshiba's website and decided to try and customize...

    The Sims 3(June 09)

I might end up getting this down the road. Wasn't too interested in Sims 2. I played Sims 1 a good bit. I have a friend who has a laptop and she wants to know if it will run Sims 3. It's the HP Pavilion dv9925nr. I think the Processor and Ram can handle it, I'm just not sure on the...

Where did these Steam games come from?

When I bought Half-Life 2, I got Half-Life 1, CS:S, HL2: Lost Coast, HL1 and HL2 deathmatch for free. It should say you get them for free on your box for HL2. It says so on mine, but I got the GOTY edition. So not sure.

    good SINGLE player games

There's so many out there, it's hard to choose. I'd recommend: Morrowind(currently playing) Oblivion The Witcher Titan Quest Fable All are pretty decent. I'd mainly choose Morrowind or Oblivion because of the mods.

Guide - What MMO you should pick for your Christmas

Man, all this talk about FFXI is making me that much closer to going back. lol Even though not online, I'm stuck on Morrowind at the moment. Maybe when I beat the main quest and a couple of guilds, I'll go back.

    Old Games

Exactly. I highly doubt Nintendo would care if you go and download The Legend of Zelda or Zelda 2 and play it on an emulator. Or at least I doubt they would go through the trouble to sue you like the RIAA would over music downloads. They don't manufacture the NES, SNES, or even the N64...

Guide - What MMO you should pick for your Christmas

Same here with FFXI. I keep going back, play for a couple months and quit. Go back and quit. lol Sad thing though, I've never gotten a job higher than 32(iirc) and haven't gotten passed Rank 3 San D'oria. lol I've recently been thinking about going back again since they're about to add 3...

    GTA IV PC Benchmarks

Seeing as some people are talking about it requiring newer hardware to run good, I'm starting to wonder if my rig can handle it. My current rig is in my sig. I hope my rig can at least play it because I've been waiting for the PC version because of mods. I've read on a few websites that my...

Final Fantasy 13 coming to PC!

Seems you two are the ones that can't read. It says it right there in bold. If that doesn't say it's coming to PC, then I must be blind.

    changing ringtones when calling someone

I know Verizon has ringback tones. I think they charge you like $2 per tone and then $0.99/month on your plan for the Ringback service. You can use the tone for 1 year and then you'd have to get another one. You can get multiple tones and set individual ones for certain people if you wanted...

    Getting a new laptop.

Lately, my brother has been wanting to get a new computer and decided on getting a laptop. I was looking around on NewEgg for one and came across this one. He wanted one with XP and didn't want to spend over $700-800. Problem is, most laptops with XP on them that I found seem overpriced...
