Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
For the record, looks like it is between the gamer versions and the Nano GX for HDFury:

Sort of difficult to narrow these four down to one as the wording of the site is hard to...
Ah, good to know. Thanks!
As long as I can get 1080p and the converter doesn't cause any input lag, I'm golden.
I did just realize audio will be an issue though. Some research shows that I can set the audio to go through the AV Multi Out port instead of the HDMI Out port.
I'd like to use...
Hey everyone,
I have a Samsung Model: TXS3082WHX/XAA Version: SA01 and the picture is quite good.
I've been doing some research and I am trying to figure out the response time and input lag of the CRT monitor. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks! :)
Thanks for the explanation and recommendation defaultluser. I'll look into this further.
Thanks spacediver. :) Their devices are pretty pricey though. If this is what it takes to do the trick I will probably pass then.
Greetings,
Is there such a thing as an HDMI to VGA converter? I know someone who bought a cable but it didn't work (hence maybe a converter?).
I'd like to plug my Wii U into my HP P1230 CRT monitor. The Wii U supports HDMI, composite, s-video, and component cables.
Preferably I'd like to...
I see. Well I just called Microsoft and described the broken laptop situation. The person told me to contact the laptop's manufacturer (Acer) to get a specialized recovery disk for my computer.
If I install that recovery disk on another machine (even if it isn't Acer branded) and use the...
I followed the directions and I was able to enter factory mode. The only difference was that the manual had:
H2-OW-01
FACT DATA 0
While my HP P1230 had:
H2-HP-02
FACT DATA 0
So I guess this confirms it is the same monitor like you said.
There are some other things I am working on, but...
I meant changing settings and/or getting into the internals of the monitor.
Also, the manual says how to get into factory mode but doesn't explain what to do once there.
I have an Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce 9400M.
Is it a simple on/off switch or are there many...
Fancy finding you here spacediver! :D
Ok, but I don't know anything technical about monitors so would I be alright if I did things step-by-step or is it too risky?
I'm not sure if my computer can handle 250 fps but I can try.
Should I disable v-sync through the Nvidia Control Panel or just...
Hello everyone,
I have a laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium on it, but the sticker on the back adds 'OA' to the end of it. After some research, it seems like 'OA' is equal to 'OEM' and the OS is tied to the motherboard of the laptop.
I'd like to switch my desktop and laptop OSs (Windows 7...
Hello everyone,
According to spacediver in this post, as well as research on my own, it seems like my HP P1230 is a rebranded Diamond Pro 2070SB (is this true?).
I was provided this extensive manual:

If it is indeed the technically correct manual (is...
