I got my 7900 gt on the egg about a month ago - still about a month to go until build. I was planning on flashing new bios for the card after the build and running a zalman vf-900 on it. I am wondering if - with the problems occuring on the 7900 - should I spend time doing anything to the card...

Opty 165 just arrived today from Monarch. Oem - got a ccb1e 0606vpmw. Anyone else have this stepping? Stats or comments? Hoping for 2.6 long term OC with A8n32 and lots of aftermarket air cooling. Thanks!

Have heard asus a8n32 mb is picky about certain mem types used by various brands of mem. Want to build a rig using the a8n32 and an opty 170 - will oc in the 2.6 - 2.7 range. Thinking of the OCZ - 4000 gold or the G-skill kit. any thoughts on memory brands for this config? - thanks!

Thanks for the replies! Budget is not too much of a problem, - Will buy the brand that seems to have the best reviews - just wondering if 400 mem wil have enough headroom for OCing this particular config or if ddr500 mem is the way to go. Thanks again!
