I have a GT630 with the same cooler as almalino, and it really is a pretty big chunk of aluminum. the card itself is tiny (it's an PCI-e 8X card, so half length connector), and it's rated at only 25w, so i'm guessing if you could find something similar, and a good PCI-e riser, you could even...
If you're going with a discrete GPU, you're better off with a x4 760k then the A10, cheaper, and you wont be paying for a GPU bit you wont be using.
And actually, you might want to consider going for a haswell i3 instead of the AMD chip, i cant speak for all cases, but even a lowly haswell...
I just found a better plan:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/mini-itx-gaming-radeon-hd-7750,3369.html
Mostly this, but with a different mobo, no 3.5" hdd or optical drive, and a slower GPU. It'll be smaller then the BT-02 based build.
Hi guys
I'm contemplating a cheap but small linux box, with just one main purpose (run kerbal space program), which means some amount of CPU grunt (KSP is single threaded, so i'm going for a cheapo dualcore haswell), and a half-decent video card.
So my proposed specs would be:
Intel...
the main question is, what do you want to do on the go?
I have a 7" android tab, and i only use it as a big screen video player on the go. Anything bigger would be seriously uncomfortable to hold in public transport. Typing also isnt exactly stellar on a touch-screen. I am thinking of doing...
The specs on the cowon looks impressive, but at the price of a 8gb D3, i am only 40 euros (just over 10%) away from a galaxy tab wifi, which i am also cautiously considering, it would be far superior for video purposes, and also be usefull at home
Hi guys,
Yesterday my ipod touch once again proved to me that trying to use one of those damned i-devices without itunes is asking for trouble, and given that i run linux (and hate itunes with a passion), managing my ipod is a huge chore, On top of that, 8 gigs is becomming a bit cramped...
yeah, install eclipse and the android SDK, do the hello world example and try to understand what is going on with activities and such, next, start screwing around with different layouts and buttons and such to make a simple app
methinks he is just confusing raid 1 and 0, i did too, untill i read the following line somewhere:
"The 0 in Raid 0 stands for the amount of data you have left when one drive dies"
