Wow, yeah that is some desk. I would like a custom desk but I'd be happy with one that I can but that's under 500 and looks simple and clean.

Have you looked at the Dell U2412M 24" displays. They would make good dual 24' setup if you went that route. I was also looking at 27" monitors but decided against them as I'm not a big fan of the 16:9 aspect ratio. Also they are on sale at Newegg for $299...
