The rev a01 does NOT solve this issue. see the official Dell support forum for more info: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/peripherals/f/3529/t/19302511.aspx on page 2 you will see a post by Dell M-Chris: very sad.

I have exactly the same problem. You even hear the Windows sound for unplugging hardware when you turn off the U2410 when using Displayport. Is this a videocard, windows or Monitor bug? I haven't been able to find much on this subject.

my U2410 (rev a01) arrived 2hrs ago. Been testing it for a while. It looks great. No dithering, no tint issues. I'm happy. Bought it of ebay (xpsdirect) where I got a rev a01 guaranteed. Uniformity is excellent as well. Loving it.

Are you sure it's going to be out this week? an HP sales rep told me, end of feb or early march. But he was not sure.

that's in holland. I'm from Belgium. I'd rather not buy abroad. Considering all the problems i've seen on the forum with this monitor. Imagine if I have to go through several RMAs because of tinting issues or rev a00 (yes it's flashable but if it fails then i'm screwed). I don't know...

haha easier said than done. There aren't many shops here that sell them anyways. And those that do charge even more than Dell's site. go figure.
