Well, if you're going to try it out let us know, I'm interested to see what changed. I have a rev01 myself.
To my knowledge nothing is wrong with mine. But who knows :)
*EDIT*
it seems it's just a color profile. Nothing more.
I should have read hotneutron's post :D
The rev a01 does NOT solve this issue. see the official Dell support forum for more info:

on page 2 you will see a post by Dell M-Chris:
very sad.
I have exactly the same problem. You even hear the Windows sound for unplugging hardware when you turn off the U2410 when using Displayport.
Is this a videocard, windows or Monitor bug? I haven't been able to find much on this subject.
I was wondering if the Lacie blue eye pro software was available for download.
I have an X-rite Eye-one display2 but I'd like to try out the lacie's software.
The Lacie's hardware is similar to the X-rite's calibrator.
On lacie's website I can only find the PC Update release, not the full...
my U2410 (rev a01) arrived 2hrs ago.
Been testing it for a while. It looks great. No dithering, no tint issues. I'm happy.
Bought it of ebay (xpsdirect) where I got a rev a01 guaranteed.
Uniformity is excellent as well.
Loving it.
I'm looking for a new mobo for my new core i7 920 (the 930 doesn't seem to oc as well as the 920s atm).
First: I've looked at the gigabyte ga-x58a-ud5. But the board's layout is terrible and I still have a pci X-FI soundcard. Right now I have a 5870 Vapor-x but might step it up later and go...
oh well, I gave up. I bought the Dell U2410 rev a01 (guaranteed) and it should be arriving in a few days.
I needed a new monitor really bad and cannot wait for this one any longer.
I know I'll regret the decision but I've been waiting for 2 months now. And besides even if it's announced this...
that's in holland. I'm from Belgium.
I'd rather not buy abroad. Considering all the problems i've seen on the forum with this monitor.
Imagine if I have to go through several RMAs because of tinting issues or rev a00 (yes it's flashable but if it fails then i'm screwed).
I don't know...
what are you people complaining about?
599 CND is like 400 EUR
In Belgium we pay 660 Euro for this screen through the dell website. That is 970 CND or 900 USD.
yes I know ;)
It might add maybe 50-60 euro to the price, tops.
Good times :D
The 24"er is on the top of my list given the specs.
Seems like a real bargain for a 24" ips panel.
Oh, the HP ZR24w looks nice. Could be my next screen.
It includes 1920x1200 24"
Still has 5ms gtg / 12ms (on/off). But I hope we won't notice it while playing games.
Brightness: 400 (cd/m2)
Contrast ratio 1000:1, 3000:1 (Dynamic)
DisplayPort , DVI-D, and VGA connectors; HDCP support on...
it's been rather quiet in here ;)
Can't wait till they release this new series. the 24"er looks very interesting.
Anyone found any more information or updates?
hehe i'm exactly in the same boat as OP.
It comes down to the U2410 or LP2475w for me.
But both panels have issues of their own. And for their price class (here in europe anyways) that shouldn't happen on 660+ euro panels.
Both are the same panels, except the U2410 is the newer revision of the...
