    Asus z170 pro gaming boots when pressing space bar

    I recently installed a new Asus Z170 pro gaming mobo in my rig. I disabled the option in the UEFI to boot when pressing a key combination. Still, the computer boots up when I press the space bar. I hate that because my cat tends to walk on my keyboard. Is there a known issue with this motherboard?

    I doubt that I am already cpu limited. I used perfmon to monitor cpu load while playing Doom for a bit. Perfmon showed 60-80% load across all cores. That said, I am now looking into getting a z170 system. My current system is about 6 years old. It is time for a new one.
