    Thanks for the suggestions! Yah the video card is an 8x, and I agree maybe I should purchase some more RAM. The motherboard is like my main concern though. The computer is just for leisure use, i.e. web surfing, chatting, checking e-mail and whatnot. I doubt any gaming will be going on.

    New computer help!!

    try only connecting the Power SWITCH, forget the LED's and reset for now. Also liek someone else said try booting with only the bare essentials connected, RAM, video, and cpu. nuthing else, no hdd, no IDE cables, no cd-roms, etc.. if that doesnt wotrk try assembling the bare essentials outside...

    I need HELP!

    Its happened to me before and all I did was unplug the floppy power connect and it worked believe it or not. It's probably just a case of something isnt grounded right. Try wat I did and if it doesnt work try unpluging everything that isnt nesseccary to startup: IDE cables, pci cards, etc...
