Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Still empty. I just plugged it into a XP machine and explorer showed it empty too... It still says that the 750g drive has 300g free. I'm starting to think the drive is busted...
btw, there is an explore option but I'm unable to explore the main directory with all 100+ folders, but I can view it in WinDirStat. It says "access denied". I am able to explore each individual folders tho, but copying and pasting that much data file by file will take forever!
Thanks Chris, windirstat worked. I can view all my files now but I can't copy the files over to a new drive. ctrl C doesn't work, and there aren't any copy options.
I wanted to copy all the files over to my new 1tb drive, and then reformate this drive and hope that it will work normally again.
I unplugged a hard drive from my Vista machine that was used to store some data and when I plugged it back in today the folder was empty. Vista reads the drive and shows that the 750g drive has 300g's free, but it is empty. Any ideas what is going on? Thanks in advanced.
Just finished a new computer, it boots, and everything posts fine. I tried to install Vista premium OEM but when it asks "Where do you want to install Window?" I choose my destination drive and then Window says "Windows is unable to find a system volume that meets its criteria for installation"...

No surge protector... I'm helping a friend build a new compouter so should have a bunch of parts here next week. This definitely sucks big time...
I hope it is just the mobo, because I haven't backed up my drives this month. :(
I had a power outage today for a few hours and now my computer doesn't boot. The monitor doesn't even get a signal. So what should I check first? The mobo lights up and all the fans run so I think the PSU is ok. Any ideas? TIA.
I can't find the IP35-E at Newegg. Here is what comes up when I search IP35.

Helping a buddy build a new comp and wanted to go with something quiet that is not too big. Antec Solo seems like the best thing to fit the bill. Going to use a P5B board and a 8800GTX. I shouldn't have any issues right?
btw... can you think of any other cases that are small and quiet?
Anyone know where I can find the Gigabyte 8600GTS silent-pipe? This is for my HTPC and a passive cooled video card will quiet things down a bit. Newegg and other big name dealers don't have this card on their websites, but only the fan version...
