    Downsides to BTX / upside down case?

    I was thinking of getting a new case and doing a lot of mods to it. The main one though would be flipping the entire thing outside down and putting rubber feet on the bottom and the metal that used to be on the top onto the new top.     This CPU I have is so weird. I don't know why, but it will not stop fluctuating when it is idle. It's an AMD Atholon 64 4000+ socket 939. Here is a pic of it running idle. I have some processes other than the system's running but I tried closing them and it didn't make a difference...

    I don't know if I really need or want dual core. The absolute most programs I would be running at one time would be openoffice writer, open office powerpoint (whatever they call it), firefox, limewire, and maybe AIM. When I game, that is all I have running. What do you guys think?
