    nvidia overclocking???

That's not true, Rivatuner requires you test clocks before applying as well, you can get around it by changing a value in power user settings but unless you do Rivatuner still requires testing.

    How to install maze4 on 7800GTX ?

Yes, like I said, buy 6800/7800 mounting hardware (hold down) from DangerDen. I'm assuming you didn't purchase this because you previously had an ATI card.

    How to install maze4 on 7800GTX ?

Buy 6800/7800 mounting from DangerDen, or do like I did (risky); First I used a little bit of elbow grease to force the radeon mounting rods into two opposing 6800/7800 mounting holes. You will then find that these rods will not fit into the mounting holes on the card, what I did to fix this...

Voltmodding PCIe, as dangerous as AGP?

From what I've read it isn't recommended to run a volt-mod on a GT AGP (from 1.3v to 1.4v) because it is missing the required VC's and a second molex connector (and this causes the card to die after a few months unless you're lucky). Well what about PCIe? If you look the Ultra and GT board...

    Vantec New ICEBERQ 5

Well, this product was originally created by Jetart, but they ran into problems finding US distributers. They are all identical, though the Vantec looks to have a slightly different fan guard design wise. Buying the Logisys CF206 *is* buying the Vantec or Jetart really.

    Vantec New ICEBERQ 5

This product is available, Directron has it under another name which is "Logisys CF206". Which is infact a Jetart JASCH1, they are all the same product. It's $19.99, not bad. What I would like to see is a comprehensive review comparing the NV Silencer 5, The Zalman vf700-CU and this cooler, the...

Can I flash to GT bios and stay? Any way to modify clock settings in BIOS?

If I understand correctly you want to flash to a bios with fully enabled pipes and vertex shader without having to use a software solution? If that's what you're saying you may find it interesting that included with rivatuner is a patch script which will patch your original bios and remove the...

    Anyone flashed a 6800GTO?

Yes, I have. If you search you will see a thread about it. I flashed to both PCI-E GT and Ultra, and from my experience, if you can deal with the heat the ultra flash is a much better choice. Just make sure you dont try to slap an AGP bios on your GTO, you can find both the PCI-e bios files...

    Question about Bios Flashing...

Yes you can flash the Dell OEM 6800 GTO, as for performance it's not really increased so much that I would recommend this to everyone, basically all this does is set your "stock" speeds to those of an ultra/GT I suppose -- as for the exaggerating, I wasn't. I am able to run 435/1100 (With the...

    Question about Bios Flashing...

Hi, thanks for the advice, unfortunately OE 1.5 wont properly read the PCI-E bios'...So I guess I'll have to wait for an update. Right now it's pretty hot at 63 GPU, and 46 Ambient. I may flash back to the GTO for now. Oh and BTW I *can* now get close to the same 430/1120 I had as a GTO with the...

    Question about Bios Flashing...

*Update* Successfully Flashed to a 6800 Ultra PCI-E, the first flash was not very efficient and gave poor overclocks, went to 385/1060 from 430/1120, I suppose this is because on further inspection I noticed the 6800 GT PCI-E was stamped with an NV40 p207, when the board is actually an NV45...

    Question about Bios Flashing...

Alright, I have succesfully flashed my GTO to a 6800 GT, the pipelines and vertex shader are still disabled by default, but other than that everthing seems to be running at GT specs :)...So off to play some games I go.

    Question about Bios Flashing...

Hello, I am one of the few (or many?) around here that own a 6800 GTO, I am able to unlock to 16/6 flawlessly, although the reports seem to be that after mid-october dell/nvidia started to prevent unlocking and I bought my system in late october (shipped the 25th) so thank goodness for that. I...
