ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2080 Ti Video Card Review @ [H]

My Strix 2080 Ti arrived today along with my Intel I9 9900K and ASRock Taichi z390 Ultimate MB. Just got finished installing them all and just in time for the long holiday weekend.

ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2080 Ti Video Card Review @ [H]

Yea, its crazy how fast stock on these disappears. The only one's I see consistently are the Nvidia FEs.

ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 2080 Ti Video Card Review @ [H]

I woke up at 345am on Nov. 1 and just happened to check Nowinstock and it showed this card in stock at Newegg. I bought one and it will be here in a few days but when I checked Nowinstock after I made the purchase it was no longer in stock. I don't know how many Newegg had but it couldn't have...

    6700k or 5820k build

I was facing the same decision on both of my machines at home a few weeks ago. Finally, the biggest deciding factor for me was that I do a LOT of video encoding on both machines and even though the 6700K is fantastic for a quad core at doing encoding as well as gaming, it can't make up for 6...

MSI Launches The GTX 980 Ti GAMING 6G

Its fine if you don't believe me or anyone else that has a 980 Ti that clocks above 1500MHz. I'd make a video but I'm simply too lazy to go through the trouble. I don't need to prove anything to you and I have no reason to lie about it either since I'm perfectly ok with it if you don't believe...

MSI Launches The GTX 980 Ti GAMING 6G

If I'm lucky then I got lucky twice, because both of my MSI 980 Ti 6G's exceed 1440-1450 quite easily and will maintain those frequencies. One of mine is slightly better than the other but the worst of the two still maintains 1482MHz under load.

    Skylake vs. overclock 2500k reviews?

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GTX_980_PCI-Express_Scaling/ Tested and still shows almost no difference.

    MSI Gaming 6G 980TI Review

Mine doesn't exceed 70c about 95% of the time even in the most demanding games, honest truth. I do run a custom fan profile but they never exceed 85-90%.

    MSI Gaming 6G 980TI Review

Ahh ok, I didn't get the joke then but I don't have any temp issues with them. I keep the house nice and cool at 72F anyway. I haven't had a heat issue with a video card since I got rid of the AMD 7950's I had a few years ago, those would actually heat up the room noticeably.

MSI Launches The GTX 980 Ti GAMING 6G

Stock BIOS, I play at 2560x1600 on a Dell 3011 30". Yes, way. The one that runs at 1515 will throttle down to 1502 in very intense games but it will fluctuate back between 1515 and 1502, I can live with that.

    MSI Gaming 6G 980TI Review

I don't concur, both of my 6G's are quite stellar. I don't combine my PC experience with someone else and I have 22 years personally.

MSI Launches The GTX 980 Ti GAMING 6G

I have two 6G's, one does 1486MHz, the other does 1515MHz, both 100% stable in all games and apps. Witcher 3 is a tough test and will usually expose a poor overclock pretty quickly, so will Assetto Corsa and Project Cars.

    980TI GAMING 6G vs 980Ti GAMING 6G LE

I've got two MSI 980 Ti 6G's, both have no coil whine at all. I have a Seasonic X1050 power supply also. I would also like to point out I have no cooling issues with either of my cards either using a custom fan profile, even with the fans running at 80%, they're super quiet and temps never...

    Which model 980Ti? Best Variant?

Not saying that the Zotac Extreme isn't a great card, I'm sure it is, but its only the fastest STOCK clocked card available. Overclocking varies and every card is different. I have a MSI 980 Ti Gaming 6G that's 100% stable in any game or application at 1520MHz core and 8200MHz memory and runs...
