Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I know this is a long post, but I am just trying to provide people with enough information to stop me from doing something stupid.
First, I am disabled, and cannot build or maintain my own computer. I dont have motor control over my hands and fingers, and I have to rely on other people...
I prefer to have my taskbar on autohide to free up a little extra space for viewing whatever it is I am looking at. About 3 weeks ago, I noticed that when I moved the mouse to the bottom of the screen, the animation to show the taskbar was very fast, almost like it appears and disappears rather...
Please correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that when you mouse over the Firefox icon on the W7 taskbar, you are supposed to see thumbnail previews of multiple open tabs. Am I doing something wrong?
I bought Assassin's Creed for $9.99 during the Steam sale, and while playing it, the colors got all distorted and the game crashed to the desktop. I started playing again, and the same crash happened, but then my screen blacked out and I got a message saying that the video card drivers failed...
After changing from a 32 bit to 64 bit OS, the software that came with my printer/scanner is incompatible. Is there a third party program that will allow me to run the scanner, or is it time to upgrade?
Thank you.
I have ordered my second copy of W7, and I am not sure about installing the x64 bit version. My Core 2 Duo with 4 gigs of RAM runs W7 well, but my other computer... Pentium D 2.8, 4 gigs of RAM, Nvidia 8800GT, I am unsure about.
I generally don't make posts, as I can usually find info...
I put an EVGA 8800GT SSC into my Gateway. The case is full of crap and seems like it has poor airflow. Despite this, I cannot hear the fan on my card when it is below 55%, aside from when I first turn the computer on. I have no after market cooling.
