    I second the Fiio E07k + E09k combo, and the monoprice version is cheaper as it doesn't have the built in dock. I'd choose the Fiio over the copy.

    USB Dac > Internal Sound Card > On Board audio I tried the STX (and several others), and I couldn't honestly say they sounded as good (to me, so take that with a grain of salt) as the USB dac combo.
