Amazon had them listed for $799 for a week or two in March with a four to eight week delivery window. That's when I ordered mine. Presumably, once they sold the entirety of the allocation they were expecting, they pulled their own listing. Right now there's a third-party seller on the same page...
It's hard to see in the photo, but the bezel is noticeably displaced. It curves high like it missed a clip during installation or something. Regardless of the cause, it's a manufacturing defect, to be sure.
I would absolutely just send it in for a refund and order another, except that Amazon...
Apologies for the cruddy picture. This monitor is proving difficult to photograph. It's more apparent at high angles and with solid colors.
Amazon tells me they don't have any to spare for exchange and Philips is referring me to Amazon for replacement. The only redress I have right now is...
I'm running a 7870 for the time being. I'm in it for the workspace, not necessarily to game. I'm typically on a couple year lag on games anyway, so I'm not sweating it too much right now.
My monitor from (US) Amazon showed up a day early. Ordered it on March 9. Didn't have much time to set it up before I had to run, but I did get it unpacked and set up. Quick initial impressions:
It comes with a weird assortment of cables; power, HDMI, 3.5mm stereo patch, VGA, and RS232. No...
Well, if my monitor was going to arrive on April 2, Amazon should have shipped today. I got no such notification. Anybody have a projected arrival date earlier than that? Have you shipped yet?

I'm really hoping for that April 2.
Yours says a firm April 9? My purchase confirmation has a pretty huge range. I ordered mine on March 9th and I've got a delivery estimate of April 2 - May 15.
I'd prefer to keep it under $100, if possible. I'm not looking for anything fancy.
The chipset doesn't make any real difference to me. If there are better options than P35, I'm happy to go for it.
I've got an Abit IP35-E that crapped out on me. I was kind of expecting to get some new hardware later this year but I'm not quite ready to go whole hog just yet. So I'm looking for a replacement motherboard to hold me over for a while.
I've got a E4400 Allendale and four sticks of 800 MHz...
Ah, gotcha. Nope. Same deal in all network "locations."
I'm about ready to just accept that this will never work. I can't understand why. I had the same problem with this machine when it had XP. Other XP machines in the house were configured exactly the same way and had no problems. I'm about...
